Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing the Best Friends Animal Society’s 1st Annual Super Adoption in Livingston, NJ. The weather seemed iffy on Saturday so it probably affected the turnout, and Sunday ended up raining and I left early. But, nearly 300 homeless pets were adopted in just two days and went to loving homes!
Unfortunately, not everybody wanted photos taken with their new pet. I can’t understand why on such a happy day they wouldn’t want to remember that with a picture. I did get to shoot about 150 new families though.
